Maritime Photography & Film
Visual storytelling for the maritime world.
Photography and film for shipyards, refit projects, marine companies, ports, sailing, maritime professionals and the blue economy.
I document vessels, people and processes — creating images that communicate not only what you do, but the knowledge, work and people behind it.
Based in Barcelona. Available internationally.
From process to story
The maritime world is built through work that often happens out of sight.
A refit taking shape over months.
A mast being stepped.
A hull being prepared.
A sailmaker, rigger or engineer at work.
A vessel returning to the water.
A new technology being tested.
A crew preparing to leave.
My work follows these processes from the inside, combining documentary observation with a strong visual language to create photographs and films that are useful for communication, press, digital platforms, archives and brand storytelling.
Photography
Shipyards, Refit & Construction
Ongoing documentation of refits, restorations, maintenance and construction — from technical processes and craftsmanship to launches, sea trials and completed vessels.
Maritime Industry & Professionals
People at work: boatbuilders, engineers, riggers, sailmakers, crews, fishermen, technicians and the wider network of professions around the sea.
Boats & Sailing
Vessels underway, onboard photography, regattas, operations, details and life around the boat.
Ports & Blue Economy
Photography for ports, institutions, research projects, marine technology, sustainability initiatives and organisations working within the blue economy.
Corporate & Events
Conferences, launches, presentations and maritime events photographed with the same documentary approach — focusing on people, interactions and meaningful moments rather than simply recording attendance.
Film & Motion
Some stories need time, movement and sound.
I produce documentary-led films and short-form audiovisual pieces for maritime companies and organisations — from project films and interviews to process documentation, social content and brand stories.
Projects can combine photography and film to create a coherent visual archive from a single production.
One project. Multiple uses.
A commissioning day does not need to produce only one photograph or one film.
Depending on the project, the same visual coverage can build:
Hero imagery
Strong photographs and films for websites, campaigns, presentations and press.
Process documentation
The people, decisions and stages behind a project.
Ongoing content
A consistent bank of photographs and video for communication, LinkedIn, social media and editorial use.
Visual archives
Long-term documentation of projects, vessels, facilities and company history.
The result is not simply more content, but a visual body of work that grows with the project.
A documentary approach
I come from more than twenty years of work across photography, film and audiovisual production.
My approach is observational and grounded in real environments. Rather than imposing a visual language from outside, I look for the images already present in the work itself: gestures, materials, scale, concentration, collaboration and the relationship between people, vessels and the sea.
The aim is to create work that feels authentic to the maritime world while remaining visually strong enough to represent the people and organisations within it.
