Photography — Documentary & Institutional Work
I collaborate with institutions, organisations, foundations, ports, shipyards, research bodies, and blue-economy projects to provide clear, reliable photographic documentation of their work.
My work is anchored in documentary photography: observing people, places, and processes with care, clarity, and continuity.
I collaborate with institutions, organisations, ports, shipyards, research projects, cultural initiatives, and teams who need reliable photographic documentation — images that make their work visible, understandable, and durable over time.
This is not advertising photography, nor staged or campaign-driven imagery.
It is a calm, attentive form of documentation designed to integrate smoothly into real working environments.
What this type of photography is for
Institutional and corporate documentation
Events, milestones, and assemblies
Work processes and professional routines
Infrastructure, facilities, and environments
Teams, crafts, and maritime professions
The resulting images are intended to be used across:
websites and digital platforms
reports and publications
internal and external communication
archives and long-term records
I prioritise discretion, continuity, and visual coherence — working in a way that respects both the people involved and the rhythm of the place.
How I Work
Every project begins with a short exchange to understand:
the context and purpose of the work
the time frame and location
how the images will be used
This allows the photographic work to stay focused, efficient, and aligned with your needs — without unnecessary complexity.
The emphasis is always on:
clarity over spectacle
observation over intervention
images that remain useful beyond the moment they were taken
Video — A Separate and Intentional Practice
Video is offered as a distinct service, not as a default extension of photography.
While I do provide video documentation when it is requested and clearly defined, video work requires a different level of attention, production, and post-production. For that reason, it is always discussed and scoped separately.
This ensures that:
expectations are clear
the process is respected
the work remains sustainable
Documentary & Narrative Video Projects
In addition to documentation, I also develop standalone documentary and narrative video projects.
These are independent collaborations built around:
a defined theme or story
intentional visual and narrative choices
pre-production and planning
a budget that reflects the scope of the work
This type of project is not designed for rapid content production. It is slower, more deliberate, and closer to an authored form of visual storytelling.
If your project calls for this level of depth, it’s something we can explore together.
